Buying Club 101: How Group Pickup Works (and Organizer Perks)
Share
Buying pasture-raised meat doesn’t have to mean expensive shipping or complicated logistics. One of the easiest — and most affordable — ways to buy from Provenance Farm is through a Buying Club.
A buying club is simply a small group of families in the same town who combine their orders and receive one shared delivery or pickup location. Instead of shipping lots of small boxes across the country, we bring everything to one spot — a driveway, church parking lot, gym, office, or community space — and everyone picks up at the same time. It’s the old-fashioned way food used to move neighbors pooling together, buying direct from the farm, and sharing the savings.
It’s better for: • Your budget • The environment • The farmer • Your freezer
Why We Offer Buying Clubs At Provenance Farm, we raise cattle, sheep, and poultry on diverse pastures using regenerative practices that build soil health and biodiversity. But small farms don’t have the margins of industrial food systems.
Buying clubs help us: • Reduce packaging and shipping costs • Keep prices fair for families • Move whole animals nose-to-tail • Build real relationships with the people we feed When we deliver 800–2,000+ pounds to one location, everyone wins.
